A suspected car thief has led police on a high-speed chase through a suburb of Perth, in western Australia.
The driver raced through streets before losing control and spinning off the road, crashing into a fence before being chased on foot.
Police say they arrested a 27-year-old man suspected of threatening a woman, forcing her to get out of her car, before speeding through Australia’s suburbs.
They said he was facing 17 charges, including armed robbery and reckless driving to evade pursuit by police.
